Tuttington Village Green

Tuttington Village Green is an asset for the wellbeing of village residents. It is available for informal use and for small organised events.  Management of the Village Green is coordinated by the Burgh and Tuttington Parish Council and maintained by South Norfolk and Broadland District Council.

Information for users of Tuttington Village Green

  1. Informal use of the Green is on the basis of At Your Own Risk.
  2. Please be considerate towards residents living around the Green at all times.
  3. Do not leave litter and please take your dog poop bags with you when you leave.
  4. Take care near to adjacent roadways and please do not allow children to climb on the fence around the Green.
  5. Camping, overnight stays or fires are not permitted. Permission for barbecues may be obtained from the Parish Clerk as part of an organised activity.
  6. While it is being maintained, members of the public should not access the Green. Please do not interrupt or instruct Council staff at work.
  7. Grass on the main area will be kept fairly short by regular cutting for safe public access.
  8. Note any areas of the Village Green set aside for wildflowers. Involvement of the public in small wildflower and biodiversity projects may be possible. Please consult the Parish Council Village Green Rep. to discuss your ideas first.
  9. Organised events are permitted but please make contact with the Parish Council at an early stage of planning. You will be asked to complete a risk assessment form which can be downloaded from the Burgh and Tuttington Parish Council website on the Events page. Information about event insurance will be provided by the Parish Clerk.
